Shri Sanjeev Kumar, an IAS officer of 1993 batch, Maharashtra Cadre has assumed charge of Chairman, Airports Authority of India on 07.04.2021.
He holds bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) and master’s degree in Communication Engineering from IIT, Kanpur.
He also holds master’s degree in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai University. Shri Kumar possesses wide experience of infrastructure and Finance sectors in Government of Maharashtra and Government of India. Prior to joining AAI, he was working as State Commissioner -GST, Government of Maharashtra. He was the CMD of largest electricity distributor company of India, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) for more than four years. He implemented large number of public friendly measures in MSEDCL, while improving operational and financial efficiency resulting in continuous profits for four years.
Shri Kumar has spent more than five years in State Goods Taxation Department in various capacities at the crucial time of introduction of Value Added Tax (VAT) in 2005.
Shri Kumar has served in various ministries and departments of the Government of Maharashtra viz. Water Supply & Sanitation Department, Energy and Industries Department. He has worked as Joint CEO of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and has also been MD of Maharashtra Agro Industries Development Corporation.
During his tenure with Government of India, he worked as Joint Secretary & Mission director for “Housing for All” project under Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation. He designed and launched Prime Minister Aawas Yojna (PMAY) in this capacity. He worked as Director in Ministry of Power, Incharge of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna (RGGVY) & Restructured Accelerated Power Development & Reform Program (RAPDRP).

Dr. H. Srinivas, an officer of the 'Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS)’ has taken over the charge of Member (Human Resources) from 10thMarch, 2023 on the Board of Airports Authority of India (AAI). Prior to this appointment, Dr. Srinivas was serving as Chief Personnel Officer in Indian Railways.
Dr. H. Srinivas holds a Bachelor (Hon's), Master's and Doctorate Degree in Earth Sciences, apart from a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management. He has had illustrious Academic and Professional careers and a vast array of accomplishments to his credit.
Dr. Srinivas’s core areas of expertise range from Policy Making to Managing and Developing Human Resources and Relations of large organizations having diverse skill sets; Strategizing and Managing Change in large organizations through Training, Skilling/Upskilling, IT and Organization Development interventions, etc. He has worked in various capacities in three different Zones of the Indian Railways, each with around a lakh manpower strength and as Director General in one of the institutions of Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India.
Dr. Srinivas has represented India at various international fora and is also a recipient of the “Silver Star Award” presented by the Hon’ble President of India

Ms. V Vidya holds a Post graduate degree in commerce from Bangalore University and a Cost accountant degree from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. Ms. V. Vidya is currently Executive Director (PPP/JVC), Airports Authority of India. Under the present portfolio, she is monitoring the functioning of the Joint venture airports of AAI. She has also worked as GM (Finance) and was responsible for submission of the tariff proposals of AAI to the regulator. Prior to this assignment, she has headed the finance division at various airports, and also worked at finance division of the Regional headquarters of AAI and the corporate Headquarters of AAI. She has experience in finance on varied areas on preparation of financial statements, statutory audit compliances, treasury management, liaison with banks, revenue accounting etc. She has been a part of various working groups of ICAO and has also submitted a working paper in the 39th Assembly at ICAO on the non-economic viability of the airports and cross subsidization.

Shri Piyush Srivastava is an Indian Economic Service Officer of the 1993 batch. He brings with him over 28 years of experience in General Management, Policy Formulation, Scheme Formulation and Implementation Strategy, Evaluation, Economic Analysis, Monitoring Training.
He is a Science graduate with a post-graduate degree in economics. He has also done his M.Phil in Economics from JNU with a Dissertation on Industrial Productivity. Shri Srivastava has done courses from IMF Institute Singapore, IMF Institute Washington DC, Project Styrning AB, Stockholm and various in-service programmes at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, ASCI Hyderabad, etc.
Shri Srivastava is the All India Topper of the IES Exam conducted by UPSC in 1992. He has served with distinction in various Ministries in responsible positions in different Departments/Divisions handling sensitive charges. He has had the unique experience of working in all three Major Departments of Ministry of Finance viz. Department of Economic Affairs (in Fund Bank and Capital Market Divisions), Department of Revenue (Intelligence) and Department of Expenditure (Plan Finance). In all he has spent almost 14 years in Ministry of Finance in four stints.
During the course of service, he has had exposure of working with multi-lateral aid agencies (World Bank and Asian Development Bank) regarding Infrastructure Project Management as well as grass root implementation of the Command Area Scheme and on the field in DC-MSME. He has been involved in formulation, appraisal, implementation and evaluation of the development activity of the Central Government, both at the Project Level and Sectoral Policy level and as such has hands on experience of economic policy formulation, analysis and administration.
In the past he has served on Boards of Project & Development India Ltd. (PDIL), National Fertilizers Corporation, NSFDC, Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA) and National Institute of Design. Besides he has been the Vice-Chairman / on the Governing Council of 22 MSME Technology Centres
He has been Guest Faculty at the

• Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi and
• National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad.
His interests involve playing badminton and reading.
